The post holder will act as a General Administrator within HMP Inverness. Processing financial transactions for prisoners’ wages, phones (PIN) and personal cash (PPC). Ensure effective and efficient delivery of SPS systems and policies. Carrying out functions relating to prisoner canteen, which will include manual handling duties.
Responsibilities
To provide general administrative duties such as answering the telephone, filing, processing invoices, data input, recording and distributing mail.
Process stores, prisoner canteen, wages, PPC and PIN phone transactions through appropriate SPS systems.
Maintain stock levels within prisoner canteen area and re-order stock on a weekly basis.
Carry out daily/weekly/monthly stock reconciliations to ensure that information on all SPS financial systems are accurate.
As part of a multi-functional team, you will be required to carry out tasks and provide relief cover as requested by Office Manager.
