To provide comprehensive and effective administrative support to the Health Team and wider S&SE Directorate.

Responsibilities

To provide a high quality administrative service to support the Health Team and wider Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement Directorate business deliverables.  Prioritise and plan work to meet timescales; managing time in a flexible, adaptable and supportive manner.

Co-ordinate health related information, communicating clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Organise meetings including multi-agency national groups providing early notification of meeting requirements to ensure maximum attendance, organising venues and circulating papers etc.

Take minutes of meetings ensuring accuracy, co-ordinate action points and dissemination to attendees within agreed timescales.

Database/Records management for a range of Health related policies, operating efficient systems and practices, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Legislation, Information Management and SPS Guidelines.

Support the Health Policy Compliance & Assurance Manager as and when required in completing ad-hoc work and monitoring compliance against all health related strategies.

Qualifications Requirements
Minimum of 5 standard grades at Grade 3 or above which should include English and Maths or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience - Essential 
Experience Requirements

An understanding of general administrative duties and an ability to work with others in a busy team context. - Essential 

Competent and confident in the use of a range of Microsoft Office packages with a particular focus on SharePoint, Outlook and Excel. - Essential 

Knowledge Skills Requirements
Good knowledge of database/records management including the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Essential 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with evidence of your ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and influence others to achieve desired outcomes. - Essential 
Excellent organisational skills, demonstrating ability to prioritise, forward plan and manage competing demands to ensure outputs are delivered on time. - Essential
