You will contribute to the overall HR Team's delivery, operations and more general HR decision-making within HMP & YOI Grampian by providing a comprehensive administration service.
Responsibilities
To collate and record absence management data and information and issue all necessary absence management paperwork.
To monitor and record the application of all HR policies and procedures and deal with general HR related enquiries from managers and staff in a timely and sensitive manner.
To provide HR related reports to the greater HR Team, Senior Management team as required.
To provide an effective and efficient administration service ensuring electronic and paper based communication and documentation are actioned appropriately in accordance with the Government Protective Marking System (GPMS) and Data Proetction Legislation.
Person Specification

Qualifications Requirements

Minimum of two National 5 (or equivalent) which should include English or Maths at Grade 3/C or above, or relevant administration experience.

Previously worked within a HR enviornment in a similar role.

DESIRABLE

Achieved the CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, or willing to work towards.

Well-developed communication skills at all organisational levels, accross a rnage of media.

Flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet departmental and organisational deadlines.

Competent and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office including Work, Excel and Outlook.
