Provide administrative support to HMP Greenock’s Intelligence Management Unit (IMU) with the aim of:

• Combating the trafficking of illicit articles into prisons

• Reducing the levels of interpersonal violence

• Preventing escapes from prison

• Assisting in the investigation, detection and prevention of crime

• Providing a support structure to Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administration support to the IMU.
Communicate and share information with law enforcement agencies.
Maintain the Management Information System (MIS) for the IMU.
Prepare any intelligence briefings/presentations including the monthly Tactical Tasking presentation.
Research and collate information to assist analysts in compilation of intelligence products.
Undertake any other admin duties consistent with the job level as directed by the IMU Manager and Head of Operations.

Qualifications Requirements

A minimum of 2 standard grades or equivalent, including English and Maths or Arithmetic (at grade 3 or above) or relevant administration experience.
