To compile a detailed analysis on all convicted prisoners to enable SPS Managers to make decisions on individual prisoners eligibility for release on the Home Detention Curfew Scheme introduced via the Management of Offenders (Scotland) Act.

To administer the Integrated Case Management (ICM) process linking in with external community agencies to arrange ICM case conferences. Taking minutes at case conferences and ensuring that minutes are forwarded to all relevant parties in line with the ICM Process.

Responsibilities
Generate nd maintain, with specific timescales, prisoner specific documentation to assess individual eligibility for release on Home Detention Curfew (HDC).
Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on the HDC process, timescales and scheme requirements. Respond to and follow up on ICM enquiries sensitively, timeously and professionally ensuring advice falls within the confines of the relevant policies and legislation.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate case conferences. Collate accurate minutes at case conferences, and distribute accordingly within set time scales.
Maintenance of effective and efficient electronic and paper based filing and data recording systems, including updating prisoner records using Prisoner Record system (PR2), ensuring compliance with SPS guidelines and Data Protection Legislation.
Contribute to the development of an effective ICM process through participation in functional and departmental delivery plans. Seek and continuously develop personal knowledge and understanding of ICM related policies and legislation.
Other duties, commensurate with role and level within the organisation deemed necessary to ensure the continuation of an effective and efficient service

Qualifications Requirements

2 Standard grades at grade 3 or above (including English & Maths/Arithmetic) or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
