An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Directorate Administrator for a fixed term period of up to 12 months. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Operations Directorate Business Unit. The Post Holder will operate in a busy working environment and provide administrative support to a diverse range of staff to help enable the Directorate to achieve its business objectives.

The successful candidate must be available to start on 29 October 2018.

Responsibilities
Provide Support to the Operations Directorate Business Unit on a daily basis, with the provision of Management Information from databases, data checking and basic data interpretation.
Undertake a wide range of general and specific administrative duties for Operations Directorate staff, commensurate with Grade whilst supporting development.
Provide financial administrative support to the HQ Staff Catering Facility in relation to Stock and Purchasing Duties.
Provide relief support to Finance and Business Performance Administrator during periods of leave and/or absence.
Utilise a number of SPS systems to deliver a range of activities in support of Operations Directorate.
Liaise with colleagues both in SPS Headquarters and establishments via both telephone and email to ensure effective communications on issues are maintained and are conducted in a professional and mature manner.

Qualifications Requirements
A minimum of two National 4 (or equivalent) qualifications including English and Maths or relevant experience. ESSENTIAL

Experience in an administrative environment, providing administration support. ESSENTIAL
