To play a key role in the delivery of an effective and efficient Procurement and Financial service to colleagues and prisoners, ensuring value for money and compliance with all relevant SPS Financial Policies and Procedures. 
Responsibilities
Provision of an effective and efficient administration service, ensuring electronic and paper-based communications and documentation are actioned appropriately and, where necessary, passed to the relevant third party for ongoing action
Respond to and follow up enquiries sensitively and professionally, ensuring accurate and impartial information and advice falls within the confines of the relevant policies and legislation. 
Completion of all routine information, documentation and communications relevant to your role and deliver within local and national standards and timescales. 
To provide support and cover to other functions within the Finance and Administration Department. This will include the Wages/PPC desk, Cashier role, Prisoner shop and stores function. 
Other duties, commensurate with role and level within the organisation that are deemed necessary to ensure the continuation of an effective and efficient administration service. 
Liaise with internal and external customers and partners to ensure effective service delivery and value for money.
